Last show of the year

Mon, 23 Nov 2015

What a great time at the Birmingham NEC at the weekend. It is always so friendly I and I love returning to the place where it all started. My sincere thanks to all those who came to give their feedback, it is humbling to hear how much you love the books. Thanks also to those who bought my work for the first time, I hope you enjoy the read!

We had a smaller stand than normal due to the increasing dilema of not being able to book. It really does feel like these shows are becoming too commercial and loosing the creative people who are essentially the heart of it, but it was good to see a couple of other authors and some unique stands. I couldn't fit my normal backdrop into the stand but it didn't seem to matter, as the 'gun' attracted the crowds. I had a heart attack when some young kid pulled it over - luckily someone grabbed it, or it would of crushed him. I think a 'Danger - Do Not Touch - You will Die' sign is in order. My thanks to My Little Pony Vinall (Matt) who helped me all weekend.

I had to cancel the Tabletop Tuesday event on the 17th due to illness but I have rescheduled it for the 8th December. If you are in London come along and play the Battlecards Game and join me for a pre-Christmas Sherbert.

Looking forward to next year on the Con front it will be Bournemouth, Oxford, Games Expo, London and the NEC currently. I may add to this. I will also be going to one or two more but in a cosplay role. I am currently in the process of building the Stoneguard Armour. Trust me when I say this will be impressive!!

In terms of writing and products planned for 2016 - I aim to finish FOUR - Warriors of the Balance early in the year and RUIN - Creatures of the Orb in time for London. Comics 2 & 3 are very close now also. There will be a very special edition boxset of Dying Star and I am currently scoping a Ruin Statue.

Enjoy the freeze.
